I graduated from Cardiff University in 2024, studying a BA in Journalism and Communications and receiving a 2:1. This course included information on the journalism industry, media production, and research; with a focus on media representation of gender, fashion, celebrity culture, and globalisation.

I am currently completing my MA in Fashion Journalism and Editorial Direction at the Vogue College of Fashion, hoping to gain a real insight into the fashion journalism industry and gain real-world experience through their incredible opportunities and connections. As well as this, since joining, I have been an active member of the VCF editorial team. This has involved content generation and writing articles, with 2 of my articles currently published on the VCF editorial website.

Over the summer of 2024, I undertook a 3-month internship for Voir Magazine. This included writing articles, creating pitch ideas, and sourcing information and pictures for articles, as well as dealing with press releases. This has been an excellent insight into the fashion journalism industry, and an invaluable experience, and am very grateful for the guidance this experience has provided me.

I also held the position of fashion section editor for the Cardiff University Student Magazine, Quench, during my final year there in 2023/24 - as well as being a contributing writer during my full time at Cardiff. As section editor, I took the lead on creating pitches and organising and editing other contributors’ pieces, as well as helping to collate a myriad of fashion articles both online and physical print. I regularly liaised with the other editors on the team and worked within the Quench team to meet deadlines for their tight upload/print schedule. My own pieces also feature in the fashion section of the magazine, with 9 published articles between 2022 and 2024.

In addition, I've had two previous part-time jobs in hospitality and production, both involving working within a team, organization of my own time, and having a number of responsibilities and deadlines that needed to be met with hard work and enthusiasm.

I'm a hard-working and creative individual with a strong ambition to gain experience and develop my skills within the media, fashion, and journalism industry.
