About Me

I graduated from Cardiff University in 2024 with a BA in Journalism and Communications (2:1), where I developed a strong foundation in journalism, media studies, and academic research. My work focused on media representation of gender, fashion, celebrity culture, and globalisation; themes that continue to shape my editorial interests.
Currently, I’m commuting to London and studying for an MA in Fashion Journalism and Editorial Direction at the Vogue College of Fashion. This course is helping me build deeper insights into the fashion media landscape while developing my storytelling skills across digital, print, and social platforms. Since joining, I’ve been an active contributor to the VCF editorial team, with three of my articles published on the official college platform so far.
In summer 2024, I completed a three-month editorial internship at Voir Magazine, where I pitched article ideas, wrote trend-focused features, responded to press releases, and collaborated with the editorial team to research and source content. This experience gave me a solid understanding of working in a fast-paced digital publication and confirmed my passion for fashion journalism.
Most recently, I undertook two further internships in June 2025:
- At The Telegraph, I joined the fashion & beauty desk where I supported senior editors with research, editorial prep, and story development.
- At Ethical Eyewear, I worked with the communications and editorial team on social media content, editorial articles, and ethical branding projects, combining storytelling with sustainability.
During my final year at Cardiff, I served as Fashion Section Editor for Quench Magazine, a role that involved leading pitch meetings, editing contributors' work, and publishing both online and in print. I previously contributed regularly to the fashion section, with nine articles published between 2022 and 2024. My efforts were recognised with Best Writer (2023) and Rising Star and Future Trendsetter (2024) at the university’s media awards.
Alongside my editorial experience, I’ve held part-time roles in hospitality and production: positions that taught me how to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and collaborate within diverse teams.
I’m a creative, curious, and driven individual with a growing portfolio in fashion journalism, and I’m always looking for new ways to gain experience and push my work forward.
